The biological materials Parodoncol and Hapcol (Polystom Firm) used in osteoplasty were studied in continuous mouse bone marrow cultures. Culturing in continuous bone marrow cultures showed growth and development of stromal and hemopoietic cells on Hapcol and Parodoncol. The materials caused no negative reactions and failed to inhibit bone marrow cell growth.

It was found that phenotype Le(a-b-) marks high risk and phenotype Le(a-b+) is a resistance marker for development of ischemic heart disease. It would be valid to elucidate relationships between Lewis system and pathogenesis of internal diseases.

An analysis of clinico-laboratory examinations of 60 patients with a suspected contusion of the heart in an isolated and associated trauma of the chest and experimental investigations on 46 dogs have shown that the closed trauma of the chest with a contusion of the heart is accompanied by disorders of the contractive function of the myocardium and hemodynamics which contributes to the development of cardiogenic shock.
