[A clinical case of depression finally explained by biology].

We report the clinical case of a patient, 36 years old, presenting a major depressive disorder for more than 6 months. Somatic complaints (diarrhea and eczema) are also present. Thanks to a biological assessment, the diagnosis of celiac disease will be made and a strict gluten-free diet will be prescribed to the patient.

Nationwide Harmonization Effort for Semi-Quantitative Reporting of SARS-CoV-2 PCR Test Results in Belgium.

From early 2020, a high demand for SARS-CoV-2 tests was driven by several testing indications, including asymptomatic cases, resulting in the massive roll-out of PCR assays to combat the pandemic. Considering the dynamic of viral shedding during the course of infection, the demand to report cycle threshold (Ct) values rapidly emerged. As Ct values can be affected by a number of factors, we considered that harmonization of semi-quantitative PCR results across laboratories would avoid potential divergent interpretations, particularly in the absence of clinical or serological information.

[Community-acquired Staphylococcus aureus pneumonia].

We report a clinical case of a patient hospitalized for community-acquired Staphylococcus aureus pneumonia. A 26-year-old patient with no medical history went to the emergency department for fever. He quickly developed acute respiratory failure and community-acquired Staphylococcus aureus pneumonia as well as bacteremia were confirmed.

Localized Myofascial Inflammation Revealed by Magnetic Resonance Imaging in Recent-onset Polymyalgia Rheumatica and Effect of Tocilizumab Therapy.

Objective: To assess the prevalence of myofascial inflammatory lesions visible by magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and their changes after tocilizumab (TCZ) therapy in active polymyalgia rheumatica (PMR).

Methods: We conducted a posthoc analysis of data from the TENOR study of TCZ monotherapy in PMR. The 18 patients each received TCZ injections at weeks 0, 4, and 8.

Background: This study assessed inflammatory changes using ultrasound (US) and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) in patients taking tocilizumab for polymyalgia rheumatica (PMR).

Methods: Eighteen patients were included in the prospective open-label TENOR study and received three tocilizumab infusions, without corticosteroids.
