Background: Intrauterine peripheral blood mononuclear cell (PBMC) therapy for recurrent implantation failure (RIF) has been reported to improve embryo implantation by acting on the endometrium. However, the exact mode of action of PBMC on the endometrium of patients with RIF remains unclear.
