The complex roles of myeloid cells, including microglia and perivascular macrophages, are central to the neurobiology of Alzheimer's disease (AD), yet they remain incompletely understood. Here, we profiled 832,505 human myeloid cells from the prefrontal cortex of 1,607 unique donors covering the human lifespan and varying degrees of AD neuropathology. We delineated 13 transcriptionally distinct myeloid subtypes organized into 6 subclasses and identified AD-associated adaptive changes in myeloid cells over aging and disease progression.

This study assessed the feasibility, acceptability, and preliminary efficacy of a novel behavioral intervention designed to reduce UPF intake.
Methods: Fourteen adults participated in an 8-week pilot intervention, which consisted of weekly group sessions, individual meal planning sessions, and financial support.
Importance: Clarifying the underutilization of treatment intensification (TI) for metastatic castration-sensitive prostate cancer (mCSPC) may improve implementation of evidence-based medicine and survival outcomes.
Objective: To investigate physicians' beliefs about TI in mCSPC to understand the gap between evidence-based guidelines and clinical practice.
Design, Setting, And Participants: This survey study analyzed data from the Adelphi Real World retrospective survey, which comprised physician surveys that were linked to medical record reviews of US adult patients treated for mCSPC between July 2018 and January 2022.

This review aims to provide a comprehensive overview of the toxicological effects of MP and NP on and systems based on studies conducted over the past decade. We summarize key findings on how the type, size, and adsorbed substances of plastics, including chemical additives, impact organisms.

Aims: To explore the factors associated with delirium in hospitalized COVID-19 patients and to compare the performance of various machine learning (ML) techniques for future use in predicting delirium.
