The anterior offset of the standard entry point for tibial intramedullary nails: A transparent 3D-CT image based analysis.

Background: This study examines the relationship between the anterior offset of the tibial intramedullary nail (TIN) entry point and the tibial shaft axis to enhance the fit and alignment of TINs, using transparent 3D-CT in an accurate lateral view to minimize rotational artifacts.

Methods: Data were collected from 100 adult patients undergoing tibial CT scans. Measurements included the anterior offset from the tibial axis to the entry point, tibial tubercle offset, tibial plateau length, posterior slope, tibial length, isthmus diameter, and the isthmus-to-tibial length ratio.

Background: Chemotherapy-induced peripheral neuropathy (CIPN) and its associated pain negatively affect patient outcomes and quality of life (QoL). The two-part MiroCIP study included interventional and prospective observational studies. Here, we report the latter, describing CIPN incidence, risk factors, and outcomes.

Impact of family cohabitation status and work-from-home on sleep problems among Japanese workers during the COVID-19 pandemic: a cross-sectional study.

Objective: This cross-sectional study examined the impact of family cohabitation status and work-from-home (WFH) on sleep during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Methods: An online survey of 27,036 Japanese workers assessed WFH frequency, family cohabitation, and trouble sleeping to estimate odds ratios (OR) for sleep problems from December 22 to 26, 2020.

Results: In multivariate analysis, WFH had no significant benefit for trouble sleeping ≥3 months.

Association between presenteeism and mistreatment at the workplace during the COVID-19 pandemic in Japan: A one-year prospective cohort study.

Objective: Workers were subject to both presenteeism and workplace mistreatment during the COVID-19 pandemic. We aimed to examine their association during the pandemic in Japan.Methods: An internet-based, one-year prospective cohort study was conducted from 2020 to 2021.

CAR-NK cells derived from cord blood originate mainly from CD56CD7CD34HLA-DRLin NK progenitor cells.

Cord blood (CB)-derived chimeric antigen receptor (CAR)-natural killer (NK) cells targeting CD19 have been shown to be effective against B cell malignancies. While human CD56 NK cells can be expanded , NK cells can also be differentiated from hematopoietic progenitor cells. It is still unclear whether CAR-NK cells originate from mature NK cells or NK progenitor cells in CB.
