Both 10 Hz repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation (rTMS) as well as 18 Hz deep TMS (dTMS) constitute effective, FDA-approved TMS treatment protocols for depression. However, not all patients experience sufficient symptom relief after either of these protocols. Biomarker-guided treatment stratification could aid in personalizing treatment and thereby enhancing improvement.

Ultra-processed plant-based foods, such as plant-based burgers, have gained in popularity. Particularly in the out-of-home (OOH) environment, evidence regarding their nutritional profile and environmental sustainability is still evolving. Plant-based burgers available at selected OOH sites were randomly sampled in Amsterdam, Copenhagen, Lisbon and London.

Failure to Participate in Sports: An Evaluation of Preparticipation Physicals in a Local School District.

Purpose: To determine the incidence of the documentation of athlete failure of preparticipation sports physicals.

Methods: This was a retrospective observational study that involved review of preparticipation examination physical form documentation from multiple clinicians for all student athletes who participated in athletics during the 2018 to 2019 academic year at Galveston Independent School District (GISD). We collected the reasons for failure to pass the preparticipation physical examination.

Systems Thinking and Complexity Science Methods and the Policy Process in Non-communicable Disease Prevention: A Systematic Scoping Review.

Background: Given the complex determinants of non-communicable diseases (NCDs), and the dynamic policy landscape, researchers and policymakers are exploring the use of systems thinking and complexity science (STCS) in developing effective policies. The aim of this review is to systematically identify and analyse existing applications of STCS-informed methods in NCD prevention policy.

Methods: Systematic scoping review: We searched academic databases (Medline, Scopus, Web of Science, EMBASE) for all publications indexed by 13 October 2020, screening titles, abstracts and full texts and extracting data according to published guidelines.

Promoting insect farming and household consumption through agricultural training and nutrition education in Africa: A study protocol for a multisite cluster-randomized controlled trial.

Background: Edible insects are a sustainable source of high-quality animal protein. Insect farming is gaining interest globally, particularly in low-income countries, where it may provide substantial nutritional and economic benefits. To enhance insect farming practices in Africa, new farming systems are being developed.
