Background: Since 2006, artemisinin-based combination therapies (ACTs) have been introduced in Senegal in response to chloroquine resistance (CQ-R) and have shown high efficacy against Plasmodium falciparum. However, the detection of the PfKelch13R515K mutation in Kaolack, which confers artemisinin resistance in vitro, highlights the urgency of strengthening antimalarial drug surveillance to achieve malaria elimination by 2030.
Objective: To assess the proportion of P.
Background: Medical student exposure to role-modeling of high-value care (HVC) behaviors may shape professional identity formation and future HVC practices.
Objective: To investigate the frequency and characteristics of HVC role-modeling witnessed by medical students during core clinical rotations.
Design: Cross-sectional survey study.
Background: Viral haemorrhagic fevers (VHFs) are identified by international health authorities as priorities for research and development, as they pose a threat to global health and economy. VHFs are zoonotic diseases whose acute forms in humans present a haemorrhagic syndrome and shock, with mortality rates of up to 90%. This work aims at synthetizing existing knowledge on spatial and spatially aggregable determinants that support the emergence and maintenance of VHFs in African countries covered by tropical moist forest, to better identify and map areas at risk.

Understanding the role that water level fluctuations have on redox conditions and subsequent impacts on metal mobility is critical for predicting impacts of increased wetting and drying cycles resulting from climate-related changes or management actions. This study measured the sediment-porewater partitioning of Pb and Zn in the Coeur d'Alene River basin downstream of the Bunker Hill Superfund Site under both flooded and seasonally dry conditions.

ETHOS Engage is an observational cohort of participants recruited from drug treatment and needle and syringe programs in Australia. Among 11 drug and alcohol clinics, participants who were HCV RNA-positive were randomized (1:1) to receive standard of care or a AUD $60 gift card at treatment initiation.
