Intradural disc herniation (IDDH) is a rare condition, accounting for less than 0.5% of herniated disc cases, primarily affecting the lumbar region and often presenting with severe nerve compression or cauda equina syndrome. This paper presents the case of a 60-year-old female with a history of hypertension, dyslipidemia, stroke, and hypothyroidism, who arrived with severe lower back pain, lower limb weakness, and urinary retention.

Blending formic acid with various ratios of urea derivatives showed noticeable enhancements of FAO as demonstrated by a favorable negative shift of its onset potential (E) and increase of its peak current density concurrently with suppression of the amount of CO poisoning reaction intermediate. Among all the used derivatives, phenyl urea (PU) showed superior enhancing effect towards the direct FAO with a minimal CO formation together with a favorable negative shift of E by 150 mV.

Tumor in bladder diverticulum (TIBD) and tumor-associated hydronephrosis (TAH) were common causes for misclassification.

Mechanical valve leaflets have the potential to detach and migrate to unintended locations, leading to life- and limb-threatening situations. We report a unique case of a dislodged mechanical aortic valve leaflet in the right iliac artery bifurcation after a redo mitral valve replacement. This was promptly recognized by input from a multidisciplinary team, allowing immediate correction of the aortic valve insufficiency followed by staged retrieval of the dislodged leaflet to avoid vascular complications.

Despite their potential, the therapeutic effects of YONPs on human epidermoid skin cancer remain largely unexplored. This study was thus conducted to investigate the impact of YONPs on both human skin normal and cancer cells, with an emphasis on assessing their cytotoxicity, genotoxicity, and the mechanisms underlying these effects.
