This review comprises the results obtained over the past 20 years in the surgical treatment of incontinence by the method of Aldridge. The follow-up examination was carried out two years at least and 13 years at most after surgical intervention and consisted of case history evaluation, clinical assessment of urinary incontinence, as well as urodynamic investigation by cystometry and sphincterotonometry. Follow up was performed in 142 patients from the total number of 200 surgically treated cases.
