Objective: Induction agent selection and dose are potentially modifiable risk factors to mitigate postintubation hypotension and hemodynamic collapse. Despite it being a common practice, minimal literature exists to support induction agent dose reduction. Our objective was to evaluate the rate of postintubation hemodynamic collapse with reduced-dose compared to full dose induction agents.

Objective: The James Lind Alliance (JLA) Most Premature Babies Priority Setting Partnership aimed to identify the most important areas for research for infants born <25 weeks' gestation.

Design: Employing standardised JLA methodology, questions for research were sought from stakeholders via an online survey. Summary questions were formed and checked against existing evidence, with unanswered questions compiled into a second shortlisting survey for prioritisation by stakeholders.

Ongoing climate change and human activities alter the population dynamics of pathogenic bacteria in natural environments, increasing the risk of disease transmission. Among the key mechanisms of amplification of bacteria in the environment is the alteration of the natural control by their enemies, bacteriophages. Using mathematical modelling, we explore how climate change and implementation of certain agricultural practices affect interactions of bacteria with phage exhibiting condition-dependent lysogeny, where the type of phage infection lifecycle is determined by the ambient temperature.

Glioblastoma, an aggressive cancer, is difficult to treat due to its location, late detection, drug resistance, and poor absorption of chemotherapeutics. Intratumoral drug administration offers a promising potential treatment alternative with localized delivery and minimal systemic toxicity. Vanadium(V) coordination complexes, incorporating Schiff base and catecholate ligands, have shown effects as antiproliferative agents with tunable efficacy and reactivity, stability, steric bulk, hydrophobicity, uptake, and toxicity optimized for the intratumoral administration vehicle.

Background: It is essential to embed patient and public perspectives into every stage of the research journey, including setting the future research agenda. The substantial gaps in our understanding of prematurity-associated lung disease presented a timely opportunity to determine the community's research priorities.

Objective: To conduct a priority setting partnership (PSP) to determine the top 10 research priorities for preterm lung health.
