Data from the global South show higher COVID-19-related mortality in children compared to the North. Parents' willingness to vaccinate their children once COVID-19 vaccines are available is poorly documented. We assessed parents' willingness to vaccinate their children in the DRC.

It was investigated whether HIV was associated with induced abortion in pregnancies held after migration by women from sub-Saharan Africa living in Île-de-France.
Methods: We used data on ANRS Parcours, a retrospective life event survey conducted in health facilities in the metropolitan region of Paris, between February 2012 and May 2013, with migrants from sub-Saharan Africa.
This study compared the effects of linear (LP) and nonlinear (NLP) training periodization on cognitive functions, neurotrophic biomarkers [plasma brain-derived neurotrophic factor (BDNF), insulin-like growth factor-1 (IGF-1)], and cathepsin-B in patients with coronary artery disease (CAD). Forty-four patients with CAD reported to our laboratory on two occasions to undergo testing procedures before and after training sessions, and were then blindly randomized to NLP or LP for 36 training sessions. included blood samples and a maximal cardiopulmonary exercise testing to get maximal oxygen uptake (V̇o).

The development of landscape genomics over the past decade has been spurred by improvements in resolutions of genomic and environmental datasets, allegedly increasing the power to identify putative genes underlying local adaptation in non-model organisms. Although these associations have been successfully applied to numerous species across a diverse array of taxa, the spatial scale of environmental predictor variables has been largely overlooked, potentially limiting conclusions to be reached with these methods.

To advance colorectal cancer health equity, we conducted a quality improvement study on colonoscopy wait times in 2019-2023 for underinsured (Medicaid, uninsured) compared with insured patients at an academic medical center providing colonoscopy for surrounding Federally Qualified Health Centers.
Methods: Retrospective chart reviews were performed on adult outpatient colonoscopies in the preintervention period (2019-2021).
