Magnetic resonance arthrographic demonstration of extension of labral defects in paraglenoid labral cysts.

Objective: This study aimed to investigate the extension of labral tears associated with paraglenoid labral cysts by magnetic resonance arthrography.

Methods: The magnetic resonance and magnetic resonance arthrography images of patients with paraglenoid labral cysts who presented to our clinic between 2016 and 2018 were examined. In patients with paraglenoid labral cysts, the location of the cysts, the relation between the cyst and the labrum, the location and extent of glenoid labrum damage, and whether there was contrast medium passage into the cysts were investigated.

Alcohol-Related Diagnoses in Hospital Admissions for All Causes Among Middle-Aged and Older Adults: Trends and Cohort Differences From 1993 to 2010.

Objective: This aim of this study was to characterize trends in alcohol-related hospital admissions among middle-aged and older adults from 1993 to 2010 in relation to age, gender, race, and cohort membership.

Method: This study utilized repeated cross-sectional data from the Nationwide Inpatient Sample. Using alcohol-related classified admissions, yearly rates and longitudinal trends of alcohol-related inpatient hospitalizations based on age, period, birth cohort, gender, and race were estimated.

Motivation: Affymetrix microarrays are widely used to measure global expression of mRNA transcripts. That technology is based on the concept of a probe set. Individual probes within a probe set were originally designated by Affymetrix to hybridize with the same unique mRNA transcript.
