After the influenza A(H1N1) pandemic (pH1N1) in 2009, investigators sought to assess the feasibility of this program as a non-traditional data source for tracking and monitoring care-seeking activities. Through the process of characterizing and describing patients who had 'return visits', or who were considered the heaviest ILI-related care-utilizers, the investigators sought to understand the strengths and limitations of this data source.

Background: The majority of women with endometrial cancer (EC) present at an early stage with an associated 5-year survival rate of >90%. High rates of early detection are attributed to warning symptoms; however, the prevalence of such symptoms has not been well defined.
Methods: A case-control study was conducted assessing the prevalence of symptoms in EC patients at a large cancer center compared with healthy controls.
Objective: To determine physician perspectives about direct notification of normal and abnormal test results.
Methods: We conducted a cross-sectional survey at five clinical sites in the US and Australia. The US-based study was conducted via web-based survey of primary care physicians and specialists between July and October 2012.

Objective: We aimed for assessment of the prognostic accuracy of GEP and sentinel lymph node biopsy (SLNB) tests, independently and in combination, in a multicenter cohort of 217 patients.
Methods: Reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) was performed to assess the expression of 31 genes from primary melanoma tumors, and SLNB outcome was determined from clinical data.
