Narcolepsy-type 1 is a neurological sleep-disorder caused by a selective loss of hypothalamic orexin/hypocretin-producing neurons whose underlying mechanism is considered to be immune-mediated. We report the case of a 16 year-old girl with excessive daytime sleepiness, hypnagogic/hypnopompic hallucinations and cataplexy, fulfilling narcolepsy-type 1 diagnostic criteria. She was HLA-DQB1*06:02/DQA1*01:02 positive.

Introduction: The aim of the present study is to analyse the influence that motor and non-motor symptoms have on the quality of life (QoL) of patients with Parkinson's disease (PD), and to study the relationship between the two types of symptoms.

Material And Methods: This cross-sectional study included 103 patients with PD (55 men and 48 women). Quality of life was measured on the PDQ-39 scale.
