In this context, the aim of the present work was to explore factors influencing fruit and vegetable consumption among Uruguayan adults. Topic Importance: The incidence of pulmonary nodules and masses in non-HIV immunocompromised patients has significantly increased due to advancements in hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (HSCT), solid organ transplantation (SOT), and the widespread use of chemotherapy and immunosuppressive therapies. Differentiating between infectious and non-infectious causes is critical for appropriate diagnosis and management, especially as radiological and clinical presentations can be nonspecific.

Review Findings: This review provides a practical framework for evaluating pulmonary nodules and masses in non-HIV immunocompromised patients, incorporating clinical, immunological, and radiological features.

Cascade cropping systems (CCS) utilize leachate from a primary crop to grow secondary crops and enhance the efficient use of water and fertilizers in areas with scarce water resources. A preliminary study investigated the effect of melatonin in a cascade cropping system to potentially improve plant tolerance to abiotic stresses. This study aimed to cultivate in this cropping system to reduce nutrient discharge and assess the impact of exogenous melatonin on Salicornia growth and quality.

Background: Obtaining de novo chromosome-level genome assemblies greatly enhances conservation and evolutionary biology studies. For many research teams, long-read sequencing technologies (that produce highly contiguous assemblies) remain unaffordable or unpractical. For the groups that display high synteny conservation, these limitations can be overcome by a reference-guided assembly using a close relative genome.
