Several cell types contribute to the constitution and function of the bone marrow niche. Interestingly, uncovering the secrets of BMM and its interaction with HSCs in health paved the road for research aiming at better understanding the concept of leukemic stem cells (LSCs) and their altered niche.

Toxoplasmosis is a worldwide parasitic disease infecting about one-third of the human population. At present, licensed medications are incapable of curing human chronic infection. The present work aimed to evaluate for the first time the combination between (spiramycin and human platelet rich plasma), in addition to (spiramycin and silver-nanoparticles) in treating murine experimental toxoplasmosis using parasitological, biochemical, histopathological and immunohistochemical studies.

Opportunistic screening at chest computed tomography: literature review of cardiovascular significance of incidental findings.

Background And Objective: Several incidental cardiovascular findings are present in a routine chest computed tomography (CT) scan, many of which do not make it to the final radiology report. However, these findings have important clinical implications, particularly providing prognosis and risk-stratification for future cardiovascular events. The purpose of this article is to review the literature on these incidental cardiovascular findings in a routine chest CT and inform the radiologist on their clinical relevance.
