Reflections on 3 Years of Innovation: Recognizing the Need for Innovation Beyond the Clinical Care Pathway.

The Susan and Richard Levy Healthcare Delivery Incubator is designed to bring about rapid, sustainable, scalable, and transformational health care redesign. All 10 projects in the initial 3 cohorts of teams embraced the Incubator process-forming diverse teams and following a design-thinking informed curriculum-and each successfully implemented improvements or innovations by the end of their project. The purpose of this article is to identify the key features of teams' work that may help account for projects' success.

Recommendations from the Salzburg Global Seminar on Rethinking Care Toward the End of Life.

Objective: In December 2016, 66 health leaders from 14 countries convened at the Salzburg Global Seminar (SGS) to engage in cross-cultural and collaborative discussions centered on 'Rethinking Care Toward the End of Life'. Conversations focused on global perspectives on death and dying, challenges experienced by researchers, physicians, patients and family caregivers. This paper summarizes key findings and recommendations from SGS.

Barriers to tuberculosis care delivery among miners and their families in South Africa: an ethnographic study.

Setting: South African miners suffer the highest tuberculosis (TB) rates in the world. Current efforts to stem the epidemic are insufficient. Historical legacies and persistent disease burden demand innovative approaches to reshape health care delivery to better serve this population.
