Reduction of the germole-ligated sandwich complexes [(η5-CpGe)M(η5-Cpttt)]2 (1M, M = Y, Gd, Dy) with one or two equivalents of KC8/2.2.2-cryptand produces [(η5-CpGe)M(η5-Cpttt)2]- (2M) and [(η5-CpGe)M(η5-Cpttt)2]2- (3M), respectively, as salts of [K(2.

With India's older population expected to double by 2050, frailty presents major public health and economic challenges. This study summarizes the prevalence of frailty among community-dwelling Indians.

It is accomplished by viruses stimulating cell hosts to produce holin proteins that assemble in cellular membranes and break them at specific times. One of the most surprising observations in cell lysis is that antiholin proteins that inhibit membrane permeabilization are also produced.

The need for biocompatible materials for medical devices remains critical, as complications such as infection, thrombosis, and biofouling significantly contribute to medical device failure and patient morbidity and mortality. In recent years, nitric oxide (NO)-releasing technologies have been explored to mitigate bacterial infections, particularly those stemming from common gram-positive and gram-negative bacterial pathogens. However, NO-releasing materials do not inherently possess anti-fouling capabilities.

Despite extensive research on the C-H functionalization of quinoxaline-2(1H)-one, the difunctionalization of this compound through C-C and N-O bond formation via the radical relay process is unusual. DFT calculation and mechanistic studies reveal that the reaction follows a radical pathway.
