The involvement of miRNAs in the etiopathogenesis of depression and childhood traumas is still unclear. This study aims to reveal potential differences in miRNA levels between patients with depression and healthy individuals and assess their connection to childhood traumas.

This study aims to evaluate the knowledge levels of physicians and nurses working at primary health care centers about the oral contraceptive pill (OCP) use.

Methods: This is a cross-sectional review of 306 professional care givers (117 physicians and 189 nurses) who are working at primary health care centers.

Predicting Severe Respiratory Failure in Patients with COVID-19: A Machine Learning Approach.

Studies attempting to predict the development of severe respiratory failure in patients with a COVID-19 infection using machine learning algorithms have yielded different results due to differences in variable selection. We aimed to predict the development of severe respiratory failure, defined as the need for high-flow oxygen support, continuous positive airway pressure, or mechanical ventilation, in patients with COVID-19, using machine learning algorithms to identify the most important variables in achieving this prediction. This retrospective, cross-sectional study included COVID-19 patients with mild respiratory failure (mostly receiving oxygen through a mask or nasal cannula).

Treatment decision for impacted mandibular third molars: Effects of cone-beam computed tomography and level of surgeons' experience.

The aim of this study was to analyse the effect of surgeons' experience and the benefit of using cone-beam computed tomography (CBCT) images, compared to the use of panoramic radiography (PAN) images, on their decisions with regard to mandibular third molar treatment modality. Effectiveness of a Training Program for the Prevention of Pressure Ulcers on Caregivers of Elderly Patients.

Introduction: The aim of this study is to evaluate the impact of face-to-face education on pressure ulcer prevention and care provided to caregivers of patients with pressure ulcers in home healthcare services, specifically on the progression of the ulcers and their effects on the patients.

Methods: This prospective, analytical intervention study assessed the training program implemented using the presentation teaching strategy for caregivers of patients with pressure ulcers, from the perspective of the patient and caregiver. The participants were 91 patients with pressure ulcers in the Home Health Care Unit and 91 caregivers.
