Introduction: The introduction of generative artificial intelligence (AI) may have a profound effect on residency applications. In this study, we explore the abilities of AI-generated letters of recommendation (LORs) by evaluating the accuracy of orthopaedic surgery residency selection committee members to identify LORs written by human or AI authors.
Methods: In a multicenter, single-blind trial, a total of 45 LORs (15 human, 15 ChatGPT, and 15 Google BARD) were curated.
In response to the growing demand for high-quality food ingredients, starches from underutilised sources like quinoa and faba bean are gaining attention due to their unique properties and high tolerance to adverse environmental conditions. Acid hydrolysis is a well-established chemical method for producing modified starch with improved solubility, lower gelatinisation temperature, and reduced pasting viscosity. However, various outcomes can be achieved depending on the type of starch and modification conditions.

Here, we present genomic analyses of tissue biopsies and circulating tumor DNA (ctDNA) from patients with one of nearly 20 tumor types treated with futibatinib in the phase I/II FOENIX study.
Patients And Methods: Eligible patients included those with ctDNA samples collected per protocol at baseline and/or progression on futibatinib in the phase Ib portion of the study for FGF/FGFR-altered advanced solid tumors or the phase II portion of the study for FGFR2 fusion/rearrangement-positive cholangiocarcinoma.
The rise in the number of facility-based births in Bangladesh has been accompanied by a caesarean section (CS) epidemic. The current CS rate is 45% and while many are performed when medically unnecessary, there is still maternal mortality due to lack of access to CS. A significant contributor to the rising CS rates in Bangladesh is repeat CS.
