A high level of EpCAM overexpression in lung cancer makes this protein a promising target for targeted therapy. Radionuclide visualization of EpCAM expression would facilitate the selection of patients potentially benefiting from such treatment. Single-photon computed tomography (SPECT) using Tc-labeled engineered scaffold protein DARPin Ec1 has shown its effectiveness in imaging tumors with overexpression of EpCAM in preclinical studies, providing high contrast just a few hours after injection.

Material And Methods: It was performed retrospective analysis of 570 patients with DFS (2015-2017): group I - neuropathic form (n=285), group II - neuroischemic form (n=285). Patients were classified according to Texas grade.
We analyze effects of inhomogeneous concentration and temperature distributions in the atmosphere, rain droplet evaporation and radioactive decay of soluble gases on the rate of trace gas scavenging by rain. We employ a one-dimensional model of precipitation scavenging of radioactive soluble gaseous pollutants that is valid for small gradients and non-uniform initial altitudinal distributions of temperature and concentration in the atmosphere. We assume that conditions of equilibrium evaporation of rain droplets are fulfilled.

We investigate mass transfer during the isothermal absorption of atmospheric trace soluble gases by a single droplet whose size is comparable to the molecular mean free path in air at normal conditions. It is assumed that the trace reactant diffuses to the droplet surface and then reacts with the substances inside the droplet according to the first-order rate law. Our analysis applies a flux-matching theory of transport processes in gases and assumes constant thermophysical properties of the gases and liquids.

Group-marking of metamorphs was conducted in a small thermal pond serving as a sedimentation basin for discharged waters from Nizhny Tagil metallurgic works. Depending on the time of metamorphosis, three groups of individuals could be singled out, namely: early ones (group I), middle ones (group II), and late ones that overwinter as tadpoles and complete metamorphosis in May of the next year (group III).
