Sympathetic nervous system (SNS), endothelin 1 (ET-1) and angiotensin II (Ang II) are involved in the pathophysiology of acute myocardial infarction (AMI). Valproic acid (VPA) is under study for the treatment against AMI due to its beneficial cardiac effects. However, the vascular effects of VPA on the activation of the SNS, ET-1 and Ang II after AMI are not fully studied.

Direct Oral Anticoagulants (DOACs) have transformed the management of thrombotic disorders, offering a more convenient and effective alternative to traditional vitamin K antagonists (VKAs). However, assessing thrombotic risk in patients treated with DOACS remains crucial due to the potential for recurrent events. Current clinical risk scores have limitations in predicting and monitoring venous thromboembolism (VTE) risk in specific DOAC populations.

The evaluation of the effect of laser in disinfection of root canal in pulp regenerative therapy, if found effective laser can be used for root canal disinfection in cases of regenerative endodontic therapy. This study includes a systematic review addressing the question of whether laser is effective in root canal treatment in regenerative endodontic therapy. Randomized controlled trials (RCTs), case series, and animal studies evaluating the effect of laser-assisted endodontic irrigation in pulp regenerative therapy were included.

Recognizing their significance in disease diagnosis and treatment, substantial efforts have been dedicated to developing efficient methods for EV isolation, detection, and analysis. EVs, heterogeneous membrane-encapsulated vesicles secreted by all cells, contain bioactive substances capable of modulating recipient cell biology upon internalization, including proteins, lipids, DNA, and various RNAs.
