Epidermal stem cells orchestrate epidermal renewal and timely wound repair through a tight regulation of self-renewal, proliferation, and differentiation. In culture, human epidermal stem cells generate a clonal type referred to as holoclone, which give rise to transient amplifying progenitors (meroclone and paraclone-forming cells) eventually generating terminally differentiated cells. Leveraging single-cell transcriptomic data, we explored the FOXM1-dependent biochemical signals controlling self-renewal and differentiation in epidermal stem cells aimed at improving regenerative medicine applications.

The CRISPR-Cas system holds great potential for the genetic correction of single nucleotide variants (SNVs), including dominant mutations. However, distinguishing between single-nucleotide variations in a pathogenic genomic context remains challenging.

In fact, the rapid cooling rates together with subsequent heating/cooling cycles occurred during layer by layer additive manufacturing production make low temperature heat treatments desirable for promoting stress relaxation as well as limited grain growth: this combination can offer the opportunity of obtaining the best compromise between high strength, good elongation to failure and limited residual stresses. The microstructural features were analysed, revealing that the high cooling rate, induced by the process, caused a large supersaturation of the aluminum matrix and the refinement of the eutectic structure.

This made it possible to identify specific trends in hospital and local purchases, such as the extensive use of off-label drugs with little evidence of efficacy during the first weeks of the epidemic, and to progressively assess the degree of implementation of regulatory and ministerial recommendations.Fin dalle prime fasi dell'emergenza covid-19 è emersa per l'Agenzia Italiana del Farmaco (AIFA) la necessità di monitorare in modo specifico l'uso dei farmaci utilizzati nel corso dell'epidemia.

The myogenous group appears to represent the most frequently diagnosed category. In the context of a multimodal approach, splint therapy and musculoskeletal physiotherapy are often considered as a preferred therapy.
