Ossifying fibroma (OF) is a rare, benign fibro-osseous neoplasm that primarily originates from membranous bones. While most frequently documented in equines, OF has also been reported in other species, including dogs, though it remains uncommon. The condition poses significant diagnostic challenges due to its ambiguous presentation, often requiring differentiation from other benign and malignant intraosseous lesions.

The patient manifested clinical signs of vestibular disease and mild renal symptoms with no significant improvement under treatment, which finally led to euthanasia.

The aim of the study was to present a review of the literature and research on the carotid body (CB) over the past years and update the latest findings. The purpose of this article is to present a general overview and comparative analysis of CB between species, from the microanatomy to the pathology of CB. This study gives information about the embryological development and physiological aspects of anatomical findings and their differences.

Chronic Copper Bilysinate Poisoning in Five Texel Sheep: A Case Report.

Sheep are the domestic species most prone to chronic copper poisoning, as a slight increase in the dietary concentration can lead to liver accumulation and the development of clinical signs in this species. Common sources of copper in the diet are feed additives and mineral supplements, which are commonly used in pigs and poultry.
