A series of oleanane and ursane-type derivatives conjugated with a tetrazole cycle were obtained by 2 + 3 cycloaddition of C28-cyanoalkyl esters with sodium azide in the presence of NHCl. It was shown that 2,3-indolo-oleanolic and ursolic acids with a tetrazole moiety exhibited strong inhibitory activity against α-glucosidase with IC values of 1.15 and 1.

Over the past decade, an increasing number of oncology medicines with indications for multiple cancer types have been delivering benefits to patients. To ensure these products reach patients, pricing and reimbursement systems have had to adapt to address the value assessment, time-to-access, affordability, and budget uncertainty challenges this creates. Alzheimer's disease (AD) poses a significant public health issue. Despite the fact that today there are several methods of maintenance therapy, one of the most widely used methods is designed to correct the deficiency of acetylcholine. In the search for new potential inhibitors of cholinesterase enzymes, eight new derivatives of 3-oxo- or 2,3-indolo-triterpenic acid conjugated with amino-quinuclidine bicyclic cores were designed and synthesized.
