Efficacy and Feasibility of Remote Cognitive Remediation Therapy in Parkinson's Disease: A Randomized Controlled Trial.

Background: Non-motor symptoms of Parkinson's disease (PD) such as cognitive impairment are common and decrease patient quality of life and daily functioning. While no pharmacological treatments have effectively alleviated these symptoms to date, non-pharmacological approaches such as cognitive remediation therapy (CRT) and physical exercise have both been shown to improve cognitive function and quality of life in people with PD.

Objective: This study aims to determine the feasibility and impact of remote CRT on cognitive function and quality of life in patients with PD participating in an organized group exercise program.

Determining g_{A}/g_{V} with High-Resolution Spectral Measurements Using a LiInSe_{2} Bolometer.

Neutrinoless double beta decay (0νββ) processes sample a wide range of intermediate forbidden nuclear transitions, which may be impacted by quenching of the axial vector coupling constant (g_{A}/g_{V}), the uncertainty of which plays a pivotal role in determining the sensitivity reach of 0νββ experiments. In this Letter, we present measurements performed on a high-resolution LiInSe_{2} bolometer in a "source=detector" configuration to measure the spectral shape of the fourfold forbidden β decay of ^{115}In. The value of g_{A}/g_{V} is determined by comparing the spectral shape of theoretical predictions to the experimental β spectrum taking into account various simulated background components as well as a variety of detector effects.

Poor obstetric consequences of unexpected events in the delivery room, such as a shoulder dystocia and umbilical cord prolapse at birth or severe maternal infection cause harm to the mother, the newborn, the extended family and the staff. A vigorous attempt has been made to anticipate or prevent those events and try to deal with them skillfully and quickly in order to reduce the rate of complications. One of the methods to bring about successful treatment of these events is by integrated staff training in the delivery room, that is, joint training of obstetricians, midwives in the field of nursing, and anesthesiologists.

Introduction Cervical dystonia (CD), a rare disorder, is the most common form of dystonia, a movement disorder. Transition and Sustainability of an Online Care Model for People With Parkinson's Disease in Response to the COVID-19 Pandemic.

Introduction: CoronaVirus Disease-2019 (COVID-19) led to social distancing and the need for alternative care models. Telehealth programs for people with Parkinson's (PWP) disease may ensure continuity of care. The goal of this observational survey study was to determine the practicability, satisfaction, and barriers to online programs, their relationship to perceived symptoms, mood, and quality of life, and program sustainability beyond the immediate pandemic.
