Background And Purpose: is a recently emerging nosocomial fungal pathogen. Candidemia is the fourth most prevalent cause of bloodstream Infections with mortality rates varying from 5-71%.
Materials And Methods: This was a retrospective study conducted at Uttar Pradesh University of Medical Sciences, Etawah, India, from September 2023 to February 2024.
Aim & Background: Increased efficacy with reduced side effects in cancer treatment is achieved through targeted distribution of anti-cancer medications. Because of their biocompatibility, biodegradability, low toxicity, and target ability under magnetic field, magnetic nanoparticles (MNP) based chitosan nanocomposite have attracted attention among other delivery technologies.
Methodology: MNPs were synthesised using the co-precipitation method.
The advancement in the arena of bone tissue engineering persuades us to develop novel nanocomposite scaffolds in order to improve antibacterial, osteogenic, and angiogenic properties that show resemblance to natural bone extracellular matrix. Here, we focused on the development of novel zinc-doped hydroxyapatite (ZnHAP) nanoparticles (1, 2 and 3 wt%; size: 50-60 nm) incorporated chitosan-gelatin nanocomposite scaffold, with an interconnected porous structure. The addition of ZnHAP nanoparticles decreases the pore size (~30 µm) of the chitosan gelatin scaffold.

However, current preparation approaches involve the combination of multiple intrinsically-different methodologies to achieve graphene-synthesis and architecture-engineering, complicating the entire procedure. Here, a novel approach to prepare GAs with engineered architectures based on the laser-upcycling of protein biowaste, hemoglobin, is introduced.
