Antithrombin (AT) has anti-inflammatory and organ protective activity through its interaction with endothelial heparan sulfate containing a 3-O-sulfate modification. Our objective was to examine the effects of T/HS on 3-O-sulfated (3-OS) heparan sulfate expression and determine whether AT-heparan sulfate interactions are necessary for its anti-inflammatory properties.

Objectives: Gastrointestinal complications and bowel movement disorders are common complications of abdominal surgery. Considering the effects of coffee and the high prevalence of cesarean section operations, this study aimed to assess how coffee consumption affected the motility of the intestines.

Typically treated with initial surgical resection, and chemoradiotherapy, despite current treatments, patients typically survive only 12-14 months, necessitating new therapeutic approaches. Our meta-analysis evaluates combining antiangiogenic medications with chemoradiotherapy versus using chemoradiotherapy alone in treating newly diagnosed GBM.
