The evaluation of cognitive functions interactions has become increasingly implemented in the cognition exploration. In the present study, we propose to examine the organization of the cognitive network in healthy participants through the analysis of behavioral performances in several cognitive domains. Rasmussen's encephalitis is a rare neurological pathology affecting one cerebral hemisphere, therefore, posing unique challenges. Patients may undergo hemispherectomy, a surgical procedure after which cognitive development occurs in the isolated contralateral hemisphere. This rare situation provides an excellent opportunity to evaluate brain plasticity and cognitive recovery at a hemispheric level.

APOBEC3B (A3B) is aberrantly overexpressed in a subset of breast cancers, where it associates with advanced disease, poor prognosis, and treatment resistance, yet the causes of A3B dysregulation in breast cancer remain unclear. Here, A3B mRNA and protein expression levels were quantified in different cell lines and breast tumors and related to cell cycle markers using RT-qPCR and multiplex immunofluorescence imaging. The inducibility of A3B expression during the cell cycle was additionally addressed after cell cycle synchronization with multiple methods.

Stress granules (SGs) and processing-bodies (PBs, P-bodies) are ubiquitous and widely studied ribonucleoprotein (RNP) granules involved in cellular stress response, viral infection, and the tumor microenvironment. While proteomic and transcriptomic investigations of SGs and PBs have provided insights into molecular composition, chemical tools to probe and modulate RNP granules remain lacking. Herein, we combine an immunofluorescence (IF)-based phenotypic screen with chemoproteomics to identify sulfonyl-triazoles (SuTEx) capable of preventing or inducing SG and PB formation through liganding of tyrosine (Tyr) and lysine (Lys) sites in stressed cells.

RNA granules are cytoplasmic condensates that organize biochemical and signaling complexes in response to cellular stress. Functional proteomic investigations under RNA-granule-inducing conditions are needed to identify protein sites involved in coupling stress response with ribonucleoprotein regulation. Here, we apply chemical proteomics using sulfonyl-triazole (SuTEx) probes to capture cellular responses to oxidative and nutrient stress.
