The timely psychological stress detection can improve the quality of human life by preventing stress-induced behavioral and pathological consequences. This paper presents a novel framework that eliminates the need of Electrocardiography (ECG) signals-based referencing of Phonocardiography (PCG) signals for psychological stress detection. This stand-alone PCG-based methodology uses wavelet scattering approach on the data acquired from twenty-eight healthy adult male and female subjects to detect psychological stress.

One key challenge for cost-effective ingot pulling is to maximise the ability of the crucible to withstand the process conditions (, silicon load and temperature about 1500 °C) without deformation. In order to improve this glass property, aluminium was coated into the raw quartz materials.

Material And Methods: In this retrospective planning study, treatment plans for 25 locally advanced cervical cancer (LACC) patients with up to three dose levels were included. Fully automated plans were created using an in-house developed Python script in RayStation, and compared to clinically accepted manually made plans.

Purpose: To investigate the isodose surface volumes (ISVs) for 85, 75 and 60 Gy EQD2 for locally advanced cervix cancer patients.
Materials And Methods: 1201 patients accrued in the EMBRACE I study were analysed. External beam radiotherapy (EBRT) with concomitant chemotherapy was followed by MR based image-guided adaptive brachytherapy (MR-IGABT).
Aim: To compare five inverse treatment plans with one conventional manually-optimized plan for cervical cancer brachytherapy (BT) using radiobiological parameters combined with dosimetric and volumetric parameters.
Materials And Methods: Five inverse treatment plans were calculated using an inverse planning simulated annealing (IPSA) algorithm for each of four fractions for 12 cervical cancer patients treated with high-dose-rate (HDR) brachytherapy. The inverse treatment plans were compared to a manually-optimized plan used for the actual treatment of the patients.
