Rickettsiae are a family of ectoparasite-borne bacteria that can produce high morbidity and mortality among humans. There are scarce data on rickettsial ecology in rural areas of the Peruvian Amazon basin, where seroprevalence has not been determined, and the identities of animals acting as reservoirs of these bacteria are not known. We conducted a cross-sectional study in Zungarococha (between 2019 and 2021), a rural community located approximately 20 km away from Iquitos city.

The Mexico-United States (US) border is a region with great biological biodiversity and both countries shared a similar history and intense socioeconomic, and cultural interrelationships. Also, it has an extraordinary ecological contrast, resulting in an enormous biological diversity in a broad Nearctic-Neotropical transition zone.

Our hypothesis is that factors that influence responses to interventional therapies for chronic low back pain (CLBP) can be identified by analyzing a prospective cohort.
Objectives: Our main aim is to identify the factors that may be associated with adult patients' responses to interventional therapies for the treatment of CLBP after 4 weeks of follow-up.
Background: Patient-reported outcomes (PROs) are outcomes evaluated by patients based on their perception of their disease and treatment.
Objectives: Determine antipsoriatic treatment-related adherence, quality of life (QoL) and satisfaction.
Materials And Methods: We conducted an observational cross-sectional, prospective, and single-center study in which PROs surveys were conducted on adherence (Morisky-Green [MG] test), treatment satisfaction (Spanish Questionnaire of Treatment Satisfaction in Psoriasis [CESTEP]) and QoL (Skindex-29 and DLQI).
