Atypical Presentation of Bilateral Acromioclavicular Joint Cysts Extending Medially into the Trapezius Muscles: A Case Report and Literature Review.

Introduction: Acromioclavicular joint cysts represent a relatively rare clinical entity, often manifested as an enlarging mass adjacent to the acromioclavicular joint, which can raise concerns for a potential tumor. These cysts are identified for their association with shoulder pathology, particularly extensive rotator cuff tears, and present a diagnostic and therapeutic challenge for misdiagnosis as neoplastic masses. In this case, we are reporting on an unusual presentation of a patient presenting with a swollen mass in the left trapezius causing neck pain.

Oral rehabilitation with unilateral zygomatic implants: A case series of 32 patients.

Aims: Zygomatic implants are successful alternatives to conventional dental implants for oral rehabilitation of patients with severely atrophic maxillae; however, the use of unilateral zygomatic implants needs to be studied further to validate their efficacy. The present investigation aimed to evaluate unilateral zygomatic implant placement in the oral rehabilitation of partially edentulous patients with extremely atrophic maxillary bone and/or previous implant failures.

Materials And Methods: This retrospective clinical study included patients with partially edentulous maxillae who underwent unilateral zygomatic implant insertion.

Standard treatment for full rehabilitation of compromised maxillae with regular implants includes sinus elevation grafting, a minimum of two to three surgeries, and a minimum treatment time of 9 to 15 months. Zygomatic implants are a viable alternative. However, prosthetic restorations have been compromised due to abutments emerging on the palate.

A Clinical and Radiographic Evaluation of Zirconia Dental Implants: 10-Year Follow-Up.

Purpose: The aim is to evaluate the survival and success rates, as well as the marginal bone loss (MBL) and periodontal indexes, of zirconia implants with 10-year follow-up.

Materials And Methods: 10 patients were selected and 26 one-piece zirconia implants were used for the rehabilitation of single tooth or partially edentulous ridge.
