Purpose: Poland syndrome is a congenital malformation characterized by agenesis or hypoplasia of pectoralis muscles. There is a limited literature on how the anatomic anomalies of PS may impact the movement of the shoulder. This study analyzes the effects of absence of the pectoralis muscles on the shoulder kinematic.

TEA has demonstrated favorable outcomes in elderly osteoporotic patients and has been associated with fewer complications and reduced stiffness when compared to Open Reduction Internal Fixation (ORIF) surgeries. This retrospective cohort study aimed to analyze differences in terms of functional outcomes, complications, and reoperation rates of distal fractures of the humerus treated with ORIF and TEA.

We examined whether experience of LGBTQ+ -related discrimination in medical settings was associated with cancer screening disparities.
Methods: Participants were recruited via social media for a cross-sectional survey study.
The antimalarial properties of crude extracts from galls were investigated through bioassay-guided fractionation. Acetone (QIA) and methanol (QIM) crude extracts have been reported to have promising antimalarial activity against (3D7 strain). These extracts were subjected to fractionation using automated preparative high-performance liquid chromatography (prep-HPLC) to identify the most active fractions.
