Systemic therapy for metastatic Renal Cell Carcinoma (mRCC) has dramatical-ly improved in the last years because of the use of immunotherapy with checkpoint inhibi-tor combinations with or without targeted therapies against the Vascular Endothelial Growth Factor Receptors (VEGFR). As a result, patients with mRCC have prolonged sur-vival time, but they ultimately develop resistance and the disease progresses, which high-lights the critical need for novel treatment options. The Hypoxia-inducible Factor (HIF) pathway is central to the pathophysiology of ccRCC and von Hippel-Lindau (VHL) disease.

In this work, an innovative flexible adhesive connection in different configurations is investigated. Load-bearing capacity, stiffness, and the failure modes were first experimentally investigated by performing push-out tests.

The reasons for this are not fully understood, and the potential role of androgen receptor (AR) polymorphisms - known to affect bone density in the general population - has not been explored. This study aims to assess the impact of AR polymorphisms on bone health in the TGD population.

This is particularly relevant for transgender and gender diverse (TGD) individuals, who often face additional stress from transphobia and social stigma. However, there is limited research on how stress affects body composition and bone health in TGD individuals, particularly in relation to gender-affirming hormone therapy (GAHT).
