Only 25% of adults meet both aerobic and strength training recommendations for physical activity. Contingency management interventions have been used to increase physical activity; however, they may be cost prohibitive. Intermittently provided incentives lower costs and are effective for various health behaviors.

As ASAM's CPG work continues to develop, it maintains an organizational priority to establish rigorous standards for the trustworthy production of these important documents. In keeping with ASAM's mission to define and promote evidence-based best practices in addiction prevention, treatment, and recovery, ASAM has rigorously updated its CPG methodology to be in line with evolving international standards.

Physiological and phenotypical responses to stress are intercalated by periods of recovery. An earlier stress can be remembered as 'stress memory' to mount a response within a generation or transgenerationally.

Barley productivity is severely affected by the foliar biotrophic fungal pathogen Blumeria hordei. In this study, primary leaves were used to examine the molecular processes regulating responses to methyl-jasmonate (MeJA) and GA to B.

However, many applications are not possible owing to the size, targetability, and potential off-target effects associated with currently known systems. In this study, we identified thousands of CRISPR type II effectors by mining an extensive, genome-resolved metagenomics database encompassing hundreds of thousands of microbial genomes.
