We show that nonsingular black holes realized in nonlinear electrodynamics are always prone to Laplacian instability around the center because of a negative squared sound speed in the angular direction. This is the case for both electric and magnetic BHs, where the instability of one of the vector-field perturbations leads to enhancing a dynamical gravitational perturbation in the even-parity sector. Thus, the background regular metric is no longer maintained in a steady state.

Background: Celiac disease (CD) is a chronic enteropathy characterized by a permanent intolerance to gluten. While CD has been associated with heightened T cell responses and the involvement of distinct innate immunity components, the role of the triggering receptor expressed on myeloid cells (TREM) family in this disease remains unclear. Thus, as TREM-1 has already been implicated in other inflammatory bowel diseases, and given its role in the amplification of inflammation, we hypothesized that it might play a role in the pathophysiology of CD.

Currently, reports of the presence of emerging pathogens in cheeses are low and new outbreaks have occurred at an alarming rate, with the Vibrio and Aeromonas genera being the main causes of gastroenteritis in the world. Therefore, Multi-Omics integration has been a strategy to identify and develop detection methods for these pathogens in food. We investigated the presence of emerging pathogens in artisanal cheeses and predicted proteins with immunogenic potential, in silico, for food diagnostics.

Ticks have coevolved with their hosts over millions of years, developing the ability to evade hemostatic, inflammatory, and immunological responses. Salivary molecules from these vectors bind to cytokines, chemokines, antibodies, complement system proteins, vasodilators, and molecules involved in coagulation and platelet aggregation, among others, inhibiting or blocking their activities. Initially studied to understand the complexities of tick-host interactions, these molecules have been more recently recognized for their potential clinical applications.

The complications of hypertension depend not only on the mean blood pressure (BP) but also on its variability (BPV). Recent studies suggest that the choroid may serve as an indicator of systemic vascular damage. These studies have been made possible by the increased availability of optical coherence tomography (OCT).
