Background: The optimal treatment strategy for T4 non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) with additional intrapulmonary nodules in a different ipsilateral lobe (T4-Add) is not well characterized across clinical N stages. This study evaluated long-term survival of patients with T4-Add N2 NSCLC who received multimodal therapy including surgical resection and chemotherapy vs concurrent chemoradiation.

Methods: Patients with T4-Add N2 M0 NSCLC in the National Cancer Database from 2010 to 2015 were included.

Psychological distress, including anxiety or mood disorders, emanates from the onset of chronic/unpredictable stressful events. Symptoms in the form of maladaptive behaviors are learned and difficult to treat. While the origin of stress-induced disorders seems to be where learning and stress intersect, this relationship and molecular pathways involved remain largely unresolved.

Introduction: Military body fat standards were implemented in the 1980s to prevent obesity and associated poor military readiness. In the past 2 decades, enforcement of existing Army body composition standards has been eroded by the steady increase in national obesity rates, the demand for new recruits especially during the 2007 surge in Iraq, and the COVID epidemic in 2020. The diminishing qualified recruit pool puts a new focus on accession standards.

Despite research supporting the efficacy of Automated Writing Evaluation (AWE) in improving writing outcomes, inconsistent implementation by teachers raises concerns about the efficacy of these systems in practice. However, little is known about what factors influence teachers' implementation and perceptions of AWE. This study examined the relationship between teachers' implementation and perceptions of the MI Write AWE system, seeking to identify actionable factors that could enhance AWE implementation and acceptance in the future.
