Objective: To understand how area deprivation inequalities in COVID-19 mortality changed during the national vaccination programme in England and to identify the extent to which these inequalities might be explained by unequal vaccination uptake.

Design: Ecological study.

Setting: 307 Lower Tier Local Authorities in England, March 2020 - December 2022.

Evidence-based Algorithms for Free Deep Inferior Epigastric Perforator Flap Salvage in Autologous Breast Reconstruction.

Background: Breast reconstruction with the deep inferior epigastric perforator (DIEP) free flap has become the gold standard for autologous breast reconstruction. Flap take-back to the operating room (OR) is an uncommon but difficult situation, requiring prompt and accessible resources. We conducted a literature review and independent expert review to inform evidence-based perioperative algorithms in the event of DIEP flap compromise.

Recruitment of Adolescents to Virtual Clinical Trials: Recruitment Results From the Health4Me Randomized Controlled Trial.

Background: Preventive interventions are needed to provide targeted health support to adolescents to improve health behaviors. Engaging adolescents in preventive interventions remains a challenge, highlighting the need for innovative recruitment strategies. Given adolescents' lives are intertwined with digital technologies, attention should be focused on these avenues for recruitment.

Some scholars have suggested that social and cultural barriers between physicians and patients might contribute to health disparities. The purpose of this review was to determine the state of evidence regarding how physician communication patterns differ by patient ethnicity. Seventy-nine studies employing a range of methodologies were identified.

Limited data regarding concomitant robotic-assisted tricuspid valve repair (TVr) is available. This review investigates prevalence and outcomes of concomitant robotic-assisted mitral and tricuspid valve repair.
