We performed a search using PubMed in February 2023 for articles examining EGD and any clinical correlation in pediatric patients undergoing bariatric surgery. Search results were manually reviewed and included in the study if they examined findings of EGD done prior to bariatric surgery and were excluded if they were not primarily done in pediatric or adolescent patients.

Methods: Oral healthy participants were enrolled in this study. Halitosis was evaluated with an organoleptic assessment, a Halimeter®, and an OralChroma™.
Halitosis is a common oral condition, which leads to social embarrassment and affects quality of life. Cumulative evidence has suggested the association of tongue-coating microbiome with the development of intraoral halitosis. The dynamic variations of tongue-coating microbiota and metabolites in halitosis have not been fully elucidated.

Methods: We collected clinical data and endoscopists' evaluations of duodenoscopes with single-use end caps versus reusable duodenoscopes over 18 months.
Results: A total of 106 ERCPs were performed for patients aged 1 to 18 (mean, 14.
