Enigma of Gastric Teratoma in Infants: A Case Series.

Gastric teratomas are an extremely rare variety of teratomas in children. The aim of our series is to present the natural history and progression of the disease. Retrospective analysis of prospectively maintained data of all the gastric teratoma patients treated at our center was done from their electronic medical records.

Distribution of branches of anterior choroidal artery in the uncus: an anatomical study.

The aim of our study was to examine the relationship between uncus and uncal branches of anterior choroidal artery (AChA) and to observe the morphological and morphometric features of these branches. 124 hemispheres from 62 fresh cadavers were included in the study. Measurement of the length of AChA and the distances of the uncal branches to the origin of AChA were measured by ImageJ software.

Outcomes of neuroendoscopy for suprasellar arachnoid cysts: a single center experiences.

Background: Arachnoid cysts are extra parenchymal, intra-arachnoid fluid collections of unknown origin, similar in content to cerebrospinal fluid. Suprasellar arachnoid cysts are a rarer localization resulting from abnormalities of the Liliequist membrane or cystic dilatation of the interpeduncular cisterna. We aimed to contribute to the literature by presenting a series of suprasellar arachnoid cyst cases with endoscopic intervention and long-term results.

Anterior selective targeting for radiosurgical treatment of trigeminal neuralgia: a cohort study.

Objective: Before commonly used targets such as the Retrogasserian Zone (RGZ) and the Root Entry Zone (REZ) were adopted for the radiosurgical treatment of trigeminal neuralgia (TN), a more anterior target involving the Gasserian ganglion was used. Thanks to advancements in imaging technology, it is now possible to identify and target separate nerve divisions in Meckel's Cave as desired. Although this approach has been mentioned previously, no clinical study has investigated it until now.
