Radiats Biol Radioecol
August 2005
The results of the induction of the point and the deletion mutations by the radiation with broad region of linear energy transfer (LET) ox Escherichia coli cells. The linear-quadratic function for point mutation induction was shown in comparison with linear dependence for deletion mutations. The relative biological effectiveness (RBE) is described as a function of LET by dependence with a local maximum.

With such method of treatment, the wounds healed without cutaneoplasty in 75% of cases. In 25% of cases free cutaneoplasty was performed after preparation of the wound surface.

Results of the treatment were studied in 120 patients within the period from 1 year to 6 years. Good results were obtained in 44 patients (36.
