Fe(acetylene) ion-molecule complexes are produced in a supersonic molecular beam with pulsed laser vaporization. These ions are mass selected and studied with infrared photodissociation spectroscopy in the C-H stretching region, complemented by computational chemistry calculations. All C-H stretch vibrations are shifted to frequencies lower than the vibrations of isolated acetylene because of the charge transfer that occurs between the metal ion and the molecules.

Melanocytes-B16F10- were used to assess the EXT effects on cell viability, melanin synthesis, and melanin synthesis-related gene transcription factor expression, which demonstrated a 32% and 50% reduction of intra and extracellular melanin content, respectively. The developed microemulsion was composed of Cremophor EL/Span 80 4:1 (/), ethyl oleate, and pH 4.

We examined prevalence and correlates of ever COVID-19 diagnosis and vaccine uncertainty among HCWs.
Design: Cross-sectional data from the Household Pulse Survey (HPS) conducted during July to October 2021.
Coastal erosion, aggravated by coral reef mortality is a major issue for Small Island Developing States. Traditionally gray infrastructure, financed by public budgets has been used to combat beach loss. We examined if three Nature-based Solutions (NbS): (i) coral restoration (green) (ii) restoration + limestone (hybrid) and (iii) restoration + 3D printed concrete (hybrid) could deliver positive outcomes for coastal protection and further incentivize cost sharing for reef conservation, with private beneficiaries.

The ions were mass selected and studied via infrared laser photodissociation spectroscopy in the C-H stretching region (3000-3500 cm). Fragmentation patterns indicate that four ligands are strongly coordinated to the metal cation.
