Molecular and serological investigation of Brucella species in kennel and farm dogs in Iran.

Introduction: Brucellosis is still a significant emerging threat to public health, as it can infect humans, wild, domestic animals, and livestock. Hence, the current study aims to determine the frequency of canine brucellosis (CB), its relationship with clinical findings and reproductive disorders in kennel and farm dogs, and its importance on public health.

Materials And Methods: From January 2022 to December 2023, a total of 150 blood samples were taken from 100 adult dogs in breeding kennels and 50 shepherd dogs in breeding farms in Kerman, Iran.

Factors related to patients' readiness for advance care planning: a systematic review.

Background: Advance care planning can help to align the care provided with the values, goals and preferences of patients at the end of life. Therefore, readiness for advanced care planning is considered a prerequisite and predictor of the patient's willingness to participate in the end of life conversation. The present study was conducted with the aim of investigating the factors affecting patients' readiness for advance care planning (RACP).

Implementation and evaluation of the impact of virtual workshops of voluntary educational assistance among occupational health and safety students: Case study, Ardabil, Iran.

Background: The advancements and growth in information and communication technology have created new paths in the process of teaching and learning, leading to a shift in focus towards the use of electronic resources and digital teaching platforms. This study aimed to examine the impact of virtual workshops as a tool for improving learning among industrial health and safety students.

Materials And Methods: This study was a descriptive-analytical study and was conducted on 104 students of occupational health and safety at the University of Medical Sciences in Ardebil during the course of a year.

Ultrafine Particle Generation from Ozone Oxidation of Cannabis Smoke.

Cannabis smoke is a complex aerosol mixture, featuring characteristic monoterpenes and sesquiterpenes which are susceptible to reaction with ozone and other oxidants. These reactions form less-volatile species which can contribute to secondary organic aerosol (SOA) and ultrafine particle (UFP) formation. In this work, the reaction of ozone with cannabis smoke was observed in an environmental chamber.
