Objectives: In April 2022, the Society for Vascular Surgery (SVS) published the Appropriate Use Criteria (AUC) for the management of intermittent claudication (IC). Our goal was to compare practice patterns before and after publication of the AUC to identify changes.

Methods: The Vascular Quality Initiative (VQI) peripheral vascular intervention (PVI), and suprainguinal, and infrainguinal bypass registries were analyzed for interventions for IC.

Aims: Many studies have utilized data sources such as clinical variables, polygenic risk scores, electrocardiogram (ECG), and plasma proteins to predict the risk of atrial fibrillation (AF). However, few studies have integrated all four sources from a single study to comprehensively assess AF prediction.

Methods And Results: We included 8374 (Visit 3, 1993-95) and 3730 (Visit 5, 2011-13) participants from the Atherosclerosis Risk in Communities Study to predict incident AF and prevalent (but covert) AF.

Background: Hematoma expansion after intracranial hemorrhage (ICH) in anticoagulated patients signifi-cantly influences clinical outcomes and mortality, emphasizing the need for effective reversal agents. Andexanet alfa is a specific reversal agent for factor Xa associated major bleeding.

Aims: The ASTRO-DE study collected real-world evidence on the effect of andexanet alfa on mitigat-ing hematoma expansion and altering prognosis in rivaroxaban- or apixaban-treated patients with ICH.

Unlike most rivers globally, nearly all lowland Amazonian rivers have unregulated flow, supporting seasonally flooded floodplain forests. Floodplain forests harbor a unique tree species assemblage adapted to flooding and specialized fauna, including fruit-eating fish that migrate seasonally into floodplains, favoring expansive floodplain areas. Frugivorous fish are forest-dependent fauna critical to forest regeneration via seed dispersal and support commercial and artisanal fisheries.

Objective: Infective endocarditis (IE) is associated with significant morbidity and mortality and places patients at risk for subsequent peripheral vascular emboli. Our goals were to analyze the incidence of peripheral emboli and their associated complications and outcomes.

Methods: A retrospective single-center review of all patients with IE from 2013-2021 was performed.
