Spectrally tunable, temporally shaped parametric front end to seed high-energy Nd:glass laser systems.

We describe a parametric-amplification-based front end for seeding high-energy Nd:glass laser systems. The front end delivers up to 200 mJ by parametric amplification in 2.5-ns flat-in-time pulses tunable over more than 15 nm.
