: Pigmented villonodular synovitis (PVNS) is a benign proliferation of synovial tissue that can cause joint damage. The hip, although less commonly affected than the knee, presents a challenging diagnosis and treatment, with magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) as the gold standard for detection.
