Objective: To evaluate the association between delivery mode and intraventricular hemorrhage (IVH) in infants with a gestational age (GA) < 32 weeks.

Study Design: We retrospectively reviewed data of 1760 infants with a GA between 24 and 31 weeks/days born between 01.01.

The role of colposcopy in HPV vaccination era.

Colposcopy has traditionally played a crucial role in the assessment and management of abnormal cervical cytology and human papillomavirus (HPV) -related lesions. However, with the reduction in high-risk (HR) HPV types due to vaccination, the role of colposcopy in the HPV vaccination era is being questioned. The aim of this narrative review was to highlight the latest evidence from the world of HPV vaccination and the future role of colposcopy in the HPV vaccination era.

Establishment of 3D Cultures of Myometrium, Leiomyoma, and Leiomyosarcoma Cells: Advantages and Disadvantages of Two Different Models.

Uterine leiomyomas are the most common benign, monoclonal, gynaecological tumors in a woman's uterus, while leiomyosarcoma is a rare but aggressive condition caused by the malignant transformation of the myometrium. To overcome the common obstacles related to the methods usually used to study these pathologies, we aimed to devise three-dimensional models of myometrium, uterine leiomyoma and leiomyosarcoma cell lines, using two different types of biocompatible scaffolds. Specifically, we exploited the agarose gel matrix in common 6-well plates and the alginate matrix using Bioprinting INKREDIBLE + (CELLINK), a pneumatic extruded base equipped with a system with double printheads, and a UV printer LED curing system.

A misleading case of Müllerian anomaly: fibroid degeneration and growth involving nonfunctional, noncommunicating rudimentary horn.

Objective: To report a rare, misleading fibroid degeneration involving a nonfunctional, noncommunicating horn in a woman with a unicornuate uterus. Although the presence of a functional rudimentary horn may lead to signs and symptoms that recommend its removal, nonfunctional cases are rarely reported, and because of their apparent functional inactivity, the need for their removal has not yet been reported. No previous report showed the possibility of a degenerative process in a nonfunctional rudimentary horn causing patient discomfort.

Management for Cervical Cancer Patients: A Comparison of the Guidelines from the International Scientific Societies (ESGO-NCCN-ASCO-AIOM-FIGO-BGCS-SEOM-ESMO-JSGO).

Cervical cancer continues to have a significant incidence, despite global efforts in HPV vaccination campaigns. Managing this condition involves a diverse team of healthcare professionals. Research in this field is undergoing a period of great revolution in multiple areas, and international guidelines will soon have to adapt to new scientific evidence.
