Splenic abscesses are a rare type of disease, owing to the quite exceptional primary forms, but the prevalence of the disease is rising as a result of the increase in the population at risk. The authors report on their experience based on 6 observations of such cases over a period of 15 years. The diagnosis was obtained by ultrasonography in all 6 cases.

CT plays a major role, while conventional radiography remains an important integration in the workup of pelvis bone injuries.
Material And Methods: We report a retrospective series of pelvis gunshot wounds studied with CT in a 5-year period; the patients were all men, with a mean age of 38 years (range 18-56).
