December 2024
Under the conditions of a full-scale russian invasion of Ukraine, the danger of the development of radiation and nuclear emergency situations in the region has increased significantly. An external independent assessment of the ability of health care system of the Republic of Moldova to respond to emergency situations revealed the need to develop a training program for medical workers on the basics of responding to radiation and nuclear threats. In addition, the evaluation recommended the development of a standard for victims care taking into account the existing evidence base.

The report presents the results of fundamental and applied research works of the study of radiation effects and health effects of the Chornobyl accident. The institution has been reorganized and since December 2023 has been called the State Institution «National Research Center for Radiation Medicine, Hematology and Oncology» (NRCRM).

In more than 40% of CLL patients, (quasi)identical or stereotyped BCR is expressed. The recent data point at the non-stochastic expression of immunoglobulin light lambda (IGLV) or kappa (IGKV) chains as well.

The ability to switch between these two states is the basis for a wide range of applications, particularly in memory and logic operations. Here, we present a universal approach to achieve bistable switching in magnonics, the field processing data using spin waves.

The most promising material for quantum magnonics is the ferrimagnetic yttrium iron garnet (YIG), which hosts magnons with the longest lifetimes. YIG films of the highest quality are grown on a paramagnetic gadolinium gallium garnet (GGG) substrate.
