Skeletal muscle stem cells, or satellite cells, are vital for cultured meat production, driving proliferation and differentiation to form muscle fibers in vitro. However, these abilities are often compromised after long-term in vitro culturing due to a loss of their stemness characteristics. Therefore, effective pharmacological agents that enhance satellite cell proliferation and maintain stemness ability are needed for optimal cell growth for cultured meat production.

Current therapeutic approaches such as enzyme replacement therapy and substrate reduction therapy cannot fully rescue GD pathologies, especially neurological symptoms. Meanwhile, delivery of lysosomal enzymes to the endocytic compartment of affected human cells is a promising strategy for treating neuropathic LSDs.

In this study, we present a CO-free on-stage incubator specifically designed for use across various cell culture platforms, enabling live cell imaging applications. A simple and transparent incubator was fabricated from acrylic sheets to be easily placed on the stages of most inverted microscopes.

The histopathology of its rare intraductal papillary neoplasm of the bile duct type (IPNB) characteristically shows cancer cells originating within the confined bile duct space. These cells eventually invade and infiltrate the nearby liver tissues, making it a good model to study the mechanism of local invasion, which is the earliest step of metastasis.
